We’re Mini and Audra — two sisters born and raised in Dogtown, the St. Louis neighborhood that shaped our creativity and work ethic. With backgrounds in Architectural/Interior and Fashion Design, we come from different disciplines but share the same belief: great design should be thoughtful and resourceful.

ReMako grew out of a desire to rethink waste in our respective industries. Instead of producing new materials, we focus on what already exists — sourcing vintage garments, giving them a second life through upcycling, as well as creating clothing and accessories from dead stock materials; including custom artwork and salvaged items repurposed as furniture.

Operating from our studio in Dogtown, shapes are reconsidered, materials are repurposed, and nothing is mass-produced. The results are designs that keep their history with a contemporary edge; pieces that reflect both sustainability and personal expression.
